DATA CABLING REBURBISHMENT AT BRITANNIA RESCUE

JGT were recently asked to undertake an electrical and data cabling system refurbishment because the old system was starting to cause a concern. The installation was designed and then installed on night shifts so not disrupt Britannia's call centre and allow it to remain fully operational at all times. The data cabling system comprised of 216 Category 6 UTP outlets, floors boxes, new cabinet and high density colour coded patched panels for each of the departments.

CARAMEL DELIVERY SYSTEM AT MCVITIES CAKE COMPANY, HALIFAX

McVities Cake Company are continually seeking to improve their systems of production and to increase their product range. JGT were asked to design and install a control system for a Caramel Delivery System to service a new product range. The installation included the design and build of control panels including software, the creation of a hot room for the Caramel Delivery System and the installation of the necessary containment and cabling to provide power, control and interfaces, to and between system equipment. The above installation was undertaken whilst not interrupting existing productions and completed on schedule to enable McVities to meet customer demands.

E.ON, CASTLEFORD

E.ON UK is one of the UK's leading energy companies and as part of their preventive maintenance schedule have planned outages. During these outages JGT undertake work that is not possible to do whilst the plant is operational. Works have included installation to pumps and panel modification to the band screens on the river intake, installation of automatic valves and flow meters to process pipework and the replacement of high level lighting with the Steam Generator Building and Main Service Building.

PLANT INSTALLATION AT EUROBUNS, MILTON KEYNES

For the first half of 2007, JGT have been carrying out a major electrical installation at Eurobuns, Milton Keynes. The installation comprised a new 'French Bread' Mecatherm line, associated equipment and the mains distribution to run the plant. The new line was installed whilst the production of other lines were operating and disruption was kept to a minimum. JGT initially designed the installation including a number of additional control panels for the refrigeration plant and all work was completed within the provided timescale.

VEHICLE WASH INSTALLATION FOR STEAM CLEANING SERVICES

JGT were contracted in by Steam Cleaning Services to carry out the electrical installation of a vehicle wash for dustbin wagons at Leeds City Councils Maintenance Facility. The installation included the mains distribution and interconnecting of all the associated equipment. We also installed external lighting within the vehicle wash.

KLH PROJECTS - NEW WAREHOUSES, GALPHARM INTERNATIONAL

KLH Projects were recently asked by Galpharm International to build a new warehouse. We were then asked by KLH to provide the electrical services for the new build. The installation included new mains distribution, internal power and lighting, emergency lighting, external lighting, a fire alarm, and an extension to the current security system to cover the new warehouse.

NEW UNITS, WESCO AIRCRAFT

Wesco Aircraft have recently expanded and decided they needed more warehouse / office space. After acquiring the new units they asked JGT to remove the old wiring system and to design and install new general power and lighting, external lighting, data and containment to suit their new requirements.
